One of our many views of the landscape in Cappadocia as we trekked through the Rose Valley. It is amazing to realize that all this was formed by erosion of volcanic rock.
You go straight onto rock-hewn steps which get you onto the ravine floor, then you wind between weird formations below ochre and terracotta cliffs, climb through tunnels and down ladders, then meander through canyon-bottom valleys. Trekking Cappadocia is a thrilling adventure of a lifetime.
