Description
It was delightful finding The Moonlite Diner on the outskirts of Ft. Lauderdale when I visited Florida. This vintage diner served the same awesome food as expected from diners from the 20's and 40's. If you get a chance I would definitely recommend a stop for a typical Americana type meal.
A diner is a small fast food restaurant that is found in the American Northeastern United States and Midwest, as well as in other states, Canada, and parts of Western Europe. Diners offer a wide range of foods, mostly American, a distinct exterior structure, a casual atmosphere, a long counter with bar stools where patrons eat their meals, and late operating hours. Diners frequently stay open 24 hours a day, especially in cities and towns with a busy bar scene or with factories with night shifts. Bar patrons seeking a post-"last call" venue to socialize and get food and shift workers leaving their factories, as well as other historically provided a key part of the customer base.
