I love the wolf. Because it represents the Gaurdian of all the land on the Earth. It also has the highest quality of life, freedom and the love from it's pack and family.

I am in a bit a quandary regarding this order. I have not received it. The UPS tracking shows it coming to Canada then going to California. I have not been able to contact UPS as they only seem to want to hear from US addresses. Fine Art America has not been of any assistance in getting me connected with my order. As a result of this experience, I do not plan on ordering anything more from this supplier. Too bad, there are a lot of nice things on their website. If this matter gets sorted out, I will update this review. Update: my order eventually arrived and I am quite happy with it.

I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I haven't done the puzzle yet but I was very pleased with the speed it was sent. The puzzle itself is brilliant I only wish I were able to find Linda Carruth's puzzles in England
Marquette Harbor Light is one of the more picturesque. It sits on a rock bluff above Lake Superior. The tower is on the lake side of the dwelling.
Following the discovery of iron ore in the 1850's and the opening of the first Soo Lock in 1855, Marquette became an important shipping port. The first lighthouse was built in Marquette in 1853 and re-constructed in 1866.
The present red brick building is the 1866 re-construction, plus a second story that was added to the dwelling in 1906. The brick tower is 9'-4" square and 38'-9" high. The walls are 13ft thick at the base. The ten-sided cast iron lantern room is 70 feet above Lake Superior. Equipped in 1906 with a Fourth Order Fresnel lens built by Barbier, Bernard & Turenne of Paris. Now lighted with a Westinghouse 36" airway beacon rated at 703,000 candlepower.
A picture is a poem without words....Horace. My photos and digital paintings are picture words intended to invoke delight, thought, memories or wonder in the minds of the viewer. Some are meant to inform or instruct, but all are offered for the enjoyment of those whose eyes will explore them. I get excited about all things nature, wildlife, and nostalgia, however my travel and visits to interesting places also show up in my work.
