Description

This beautiful dried hemlock is striking as it stands along a cliff above the sea in Anchor Point, Alaska. It was autumn when I took this photo and the signs of the end of summer were setting in. It turned leaves vivid colors and dried the many remains of the hemlock or wild parsley plants. I loved the starkness of the plant against the sea and beautiful sky.
