Only one road ventures into Denali National Park's vast territory of over six million acres and public driving on this road is limited. One of the best ways to see the park and its vast wilderness is by foot, hiking some of the many trails and for the more adventurous taking off cross country.

This scenic landscape image was taken from one of the established hiking trails in the park and is an impressive view of the distance mountains, the spacious tundra and the brilliant autumn colors.
