Description
The beautiful Ohio River flows between Cincinnati, Ohio and Covington, Kentucky and under the Suspension Bridge or The John A. Roebling Bridge. The Suspension Bridge, as it is known to locals, was built in 1866 and is a historic landmark still open to vehicular traffic. Built by John A. Roebling, it was a prototype for the famous Brooklyn Bridge.
To the left of this photograph is The Great American Building, next to it the Great American Ballpark where the Cincinnati Reds play their games. The buildings on top of the hill are located in Mt. Adams, which is one of the seven hills surrounding the city. The Church of the Immaculata is the church located at the top of Mt. Adams.
