Description
I was watching a pair of eagles in the tall grasses of Beluga Slough and wishing they were a bit closer to me so I could capture them with my camera. Suddenly one began to fly down the waterway skimming the top of the water. It took quick action on my part, but I was able to raise my camera and catch him just in time.
Beluga Slough is a salt marsh where the freshwater of Beluga Lake mixes with Kachemak Bay’s 25-foot tides.
