Description
Twin Balloons nestle against some fairy chimneys as they explore the landscape of Cappadocia. The amazing geology of the area exhibits shapes and sizes that cannot be seen anywhere else in the world. This amazing fact is what makes the area declared a UNESCO world heritage site.
Almost all of the softer rock has been eroded by water and wind, except for some persistent harder rock that remains in the forms of pyramids, columns, shards, mushrooms, towers, wizards' hats, needles, and whatever other shapes your imagination can conjure. It’s a boring explanation and difficult to visualise, and it frankly doesn’t satisfy the profound confusion felt while walking through a forest of 80ft penises (the euphemistically named Love Valley).

Amazing capture. What a unique area. Love the contrast of the sharp rocks against the round balloons . L/F

I was wandering through the District and came across this fabulous piece of art that has been featured on the Home Page Avenue in the Art District group. Congrats for this accomplishment! You may archive your work in the groups "Feature Archives & Thank You Thread"
