This aerial view was taken of one of the deep canyons on the plains of Cappadocia which is a fairytale land in the centre of Turkey. Soft volcanic rock has eroded to create a moon-like landscape of unique rock formations including the multi-coloured canyons and valleys resulting in stunning sights.
The entire area of Cappadocia is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
